Back to today, when I was listening to this book I was doing exactly the same to Robin Sharma, just not to his face.

I was doing to Robin Sharma the same that someone did to me several years back, and I was being the one with the gigantic ego that would not let me learn anything out of this wonderful book.Please protect your respect for yourself and for your most honest artistry above the fear-fueled, impossibility-filled pronouncements of people who are masters of theory yet creators of nothing. The Everyday Hero Manifesto (2021) is the basis of one of Sharma’s online self-help courses and is, according to some reviewers, the most important book he’s ever released. And I had no intimacy with the natural heroism that I’ve since learned is one of the core benefits to being human. One of the top leadership and personal mastery experts in the world, he works with clients such as NASA, Nike, Microsoft, Unilever, GE, FedEx, HP, Starbucks, Yale University, Oracle, PwC, IBM Watson and the Young Presidents' Organization. In Robin Sharma’s The Everyday Hero Manifesto , you’ll learn that each of us has the potential to achieve great things—we don’t need superpowers or incredible natural talents to do so.
As a young woman, she was part of the Dutch resistance, going behind enemy lines in World War II to rescue children facing extermination in Nazi death camps. That I’d been frustrated and unhappy a number of years earlier because I was living someone else’s life. And finally, it may take time for things to work out, but if you handle your journey the right way, you will reach your destination.
Not to get too personal, but my irritation with this book could be a sign that I’ve out-grown this industry.
