About this deal

The Werewolf of Cannock Chase apparently appears on the outskirts of Stafford near the German War Cemetery with reports from people spotting a wolf-type creature walking on its hind legs. One visitor got spooked by a photo they took in 2005 which showed a dark mass in the shape of a man on the photograph. To all those doubters, we ask you this: If you’ve never seen Bigfoot, how can you tell a person he does not resemble Chewbacca or King Kong?

In a later interview with Nick Redfern, Mr Dodd said he spotted the super-snake in a small Slitting Mill pool. The Chase has become involved in a transatlantic row with the United States over our treatment of the current crop of Bigfoot stories. Cannock Chase is a 26-mile-square forest in the heart of Staffordshire, England that has become known around the world as the UK's most active supernatural hotspot. The Post reported, while driving through the Chase in 1972, resident Nigel Lea described seeing a ball of light crash into the ground. The couple claimed a giggling ghostly girl encircled their tent before moving "in ways humans simply can’t move" to hide behind trees.Supernatural creatures, such as werewolves, Black Dogs, demonic entities, UFO’s, British Big Cats and even Bigfoot have been sighted here. I did like the little bits of history that were included with each story in a possible attempt to add some credence or explanation to the events. Though it doesn’t exactly sound like one of the most haunted castles in Britain, Glamis has more ghost stories than any other castle in the British Isles.

Pluckley Village has the most reported ghost sightings in Britain, including a flickering light that can be seen in St Nicholas’ Church and a white lady seen within the church. Jackie’s claims gained credence when a motorist and his party recorded a sighting on a night in September, 1998. The Lady of the Chase is a legend that stretches back decades, with people often seeing the tall thin apparition of a woman dressed in black. You will hear more about this in one of our upcoming episodes where we will talk about the experiences we had during our New Orleans trip. The Victoria Hall, in Bagnall Street, Hanley, was first built in 1888 to commemorate Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee. Another says they are the ghosts of the victims of Raymond Morris, who murdered three children between 1965 and 1967. The sad fact is that all this will do is make people less likely to come forward for fear of being ridiculed so the whole story grinds to a halt and the actual solution to the mystery remains elusive. Over 700 people have taken part in ghost hunts at Ford Green Hall since 2017, with reports of hearing bangs, seeing shadows, and the ghost of a cat running in to one of the rooms. His previous books "Ghosts of Cannock Chase," "The Black-Eyed Child," and "UFOs, Werewolves, and the Pigman," have sold thousands of copies around the world.
